Innisfree PFI Bankrupts NHS

Gutter Lane, City of London, Fri 1 Mar 2013

Some of the protesters stayed to hand out leaflets on Cheapside, while others left to protest at the

offices of PFI company Innisfree, in Abacus House. Security, supported by police stopped protesters

entering the offices to ask to see David Metter, who owns 75% of Innisfree

The protester holding the sign 'David Metter Blood Letter' is standing on private property next to the door into the

offices, although he was not obstructing the door

After a few minutes, police told him he must move or he would be arrested for 'aggravated trespass'

A legal observer questions the officer concerned and takes notes

and after some discussion he decided to move the few inches onto the pavement.

Police tried to get protesters to move away across the road

but they declined to do so

Eventually the protesters left, and debated whether to go on to protest at Barclays, who along with Taylor Woodrow
are the others in the PFI consortium that is making obscene profits on the back of the NHS over the South London
Hospitals PFI contract. They decided to protest further on another day.
