'They Owe Us' G8 Protest

Canary Wharf, London. Fri 14 Jun 2013

 Women on tripods to hold the banner - with green footballs to sit on

 The tripods with the main banner - 'They Owe Us' and Canary Wharf tower

'Power to the People'

Banners and tripods

This was one of two areas with speakers

'Capitalism = Crisis'

'Global Women's Strike - Invest in Caring Not Killing'

A reminder that Canary Wharf is a Pig Trough for the rich 1% in the middle of
one of London's poorest boroughs, Tower Hamlets, where 1 in 4 children are
living in poverty.

London's Docklands were taken away from the London boroughs who wanted to
develop the area for local communities, and handed with huge incentives to developers
by a Tory government who set up the LDDC - a huge theft from the people to the 1%.
