Neo-Nazi 'Free the Golden Dawn!' Opposed

Greek Embassy, Holland Park, London. Sat 29 Nov 2014

They march towards Holland Park and the embassy

a banner with a photo of Golden Dawn party leader Nikolaos Mihaloliakos.

Police stop them just before the turning, just out of sight from the anti-fascists

the embassy is still 2-300 yards away.

Police hold them here for around half an hour until they have put more police in place to keep the two groups apart

and then let them march towards a pen opposite the embassy

The rally begins.

The view from the Greek Embassy of the two groups, neo-Nazis at left, anti-fascists at right, police in the middle

Peter Rushton of the England First Party, associate editor of its magazine, Heritage and Destiny speaks.
He was expelled from the BNP in 2002, joining the more extreme White Nationalist Party, and later the British People’s Party.

I walked through the police lines to the anti-fascist, and saw that many were now drifting away.
I caught up with some who told me they hoped to catch the Nazis when they tried to get on the Underground.
I went to photograph elsewhere.
