Human Chain at Latin Village

Seven Sisters, London. London.Sat 8th Apr 2017

 Talentos Colombian folk dancers

in traditional dress, based in Tottenham with classes at TChances Arts & Music Centre

A man raises his hat to the musicians

People start to form a human chain around the block containing Ward's Corner and the Latin Village

which Haringey Council want to demolish to build a bland commercial development by property developers

who would build luxury flats for private rent and sale which local people can't afford and replace the small

businesses that cater for their needs with the chain shops that you find on high streets across the country

robbing the area of its character and driving out local people.
