East Dulwich Picturehouse, London. Sat 27 May 2017

I arrived on Lordship Lane as the supproters of the PIcurehouse strikers wee getting out their banners

The pavement outside the cinema was narrow, so they stood on the other side of the road

While a picket remained outside the cinema

Aminata Sellu, Workers Revolutionary Party General Election candidate for Camberwell & Peckham

Southwark Invest in Council Housing and Southwark Trades Council had brought their banners

And the Picturehouse workers strung a long banner 'Boycott Picturehouse' between trees

 The BECTU Official Picket

Striking workers come out of the cinema and are greeted by those outside

 Some join the picket

others the protest across the street

'No Dough No Show' Cineworld makes huge profits - £83.8 million - and can afford to pay a living wage

The picket hands out leaflets to people walking by

Aminata Sellu, Workers Revolutionary Party General Election candidate for Camberwell & Peckham

She got 131 votes but Harriet Harman was returned with 44,665.
