Atos still killing the disabled

Euston Rd, London. Fri 21 Jul 2017

DPAC and supporters met in Regent's Place beside Euston Tower

and then made their way the few yards to the Atos HQ in Triton Square

with the banner 'One death is one too many'

which on its other side lists around a hundred of those killed by DWP sanctions and by benefit cuts

and began their very loud protest outside the Triton offices

You can just see the Atos logo if you looke carefully at top left, but they keep it as quiet as possible

'Cuts Kill' and they really have killed many, particularly many disabled people

who have been targeted for special attention by the DWP. Iain Duncan Smith obviously thought they would

be an easy target, but they have proved him wrong. Even so after IDS left highly discriminatory policies have

continued. A security man stops Paula Peters from entering the offices

and the doors are then locked

'I'm Discus-ted With Atos'. This protest is a part of the week of action to coincide with the London World Para Athletics Championships

which they say the government uses to suggest they are on the side of the disabled while at the same time they

are trying to kill them off by cutting benefits using fake tests and sanctions.

Atos so obviously failed with their administration of work capability assessments that these had to be taken away from

them - and were rewarded by a huge contract to steal Personal Independence Payments from those who clearly need them.
