Cotswold Holiday

Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters,

Wewwalked into Stow on the Wold thorugh Upper Swell, past the mill on the River Dikler

We were in Stow to catch the bus to Bourton-on-the-Water

But had a while to wait as the bus was running late

But eventually we arrived and walked along by the stream through the centre

 with its many bridges

There were a lot of people there

Some wanted to go to the Model Village

a 1/9th scale reproduction of the place - with some minor changes

there doesn't seem to be a big wheel like this at the Motor Museum

inside one of the model churches

Some of the shops have been kept up to date with new occupiers since the model was first made in the 1930s

 Another church interior

The model has a small model of the model village with a small model of the model village...

I put in a 20p piece to see the circus

 back to the real village
