 John's Boat Works, Lot's Ait

 View towards Kew Bridge

 These residential boats moored at the former Brentford Gasworks were the subject of a long legal battle

 eventually won by the council, but most of the boats were abandoned rather than removed

 Boats would be floated on here at high tide and their bottoms could then be worked on when the tide was out
