Saudis support killer Prince MbS
Saudi Embassy, London. Wed 2 October 2019
Two men had large screens strapped to their backs
others held large placards
some with huge pictures of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman
(MbS), others lauding his acheivements
in giving aid to Yemen (while fighting a war there), supporting charitable
foundations
fighting Islamic radicalism and extremism.
They don't mention the war in Yemen, his support for Wahhabism, the
ridiculous kidnapping of Lebanon's
Prime Minister Saad Hariri (intended to weaken him, the country united
behind him and MbS was forced to release him)
and certainly not the barbaric torture, murder and dismemberment of
Khashoggi.
THe poster says MbS is supporting humanitarian project in Yemen. It
doesn't mention the killing of children and
the many civilians. MbS started the civil war there in 2015 and is
responsible for the horrific civilian casualties
and human rights abuses there.
Barbaric practices like torturing and sawing up your opponents hardly seems
a way to make his people more civilised.
