'6000 Sardines' London protest

Parliament Square, London. Sat 14 Dec 2019

The Italian '6000 sardines' anti-fascist protesters were in one corner of Parliament Square

many had posters or placards with fish on them, some more realistic than others

and some with messages on them

Others were more artistic like the one with 'Strike London' on the fish's body

and one woman had three sardines on her placard with the message 'God Is... Sardine!'

She was one of many who spoke while I was there, but all spoke in Italian

'I don't Fight Fascists because I will win - I fight Fascists because they are Fascists'

 'I sea No Borders'

 'Sardines Unite'

Two women haqd brought rubber sardines

'Fascist Regimes Must Be Stopped Before They Start'

And a sardine full of London icons - Big Ben, bowler, umbrella, Tower Bridge,
red phone box, red double decker and what could be the Gherkin
