BP Must Fall!

British Museum, London. Sat 8 Feb 2020

Extinction Rebellion mimes came dressed in black - crude oil is 'black gold' and black the colour of mourning

They slowly move towards the exit

and continue their performance on the Museum steps

and in front of the Trojan Horse in the courtyard

I left them to go back into the Museum, where in front of the Parthenon Marbles a speaker is explaining why

the British Museum should hand back the stolen marbles so they can be reunited with the sections of the

marbles still in Greece in a specially built museum in Athens, close to their original location.

Other groups were meeting in other rooms of the Museum

 including a poetry performance.

Meanwhile the black-robed mimes were slowly coming down the main steps for a photo=opportunity

 and I took some pictures

again going outside with them
